- OLEG ILYASOVTeacher of Russian, linguist, lawyer, author of didactic materials, head of Igrayuchi project.I'm the creator of Igrayuchi. I'm also a linguist, a lawyer and a professor of Russian as a foreign language.
I believe there are two types of people: shores and bridges.
First, about shores: politically, they can lean left or lean right.
They can be cool (or not so cool). They can be tall or short, rough or gentle, dangerous or tame — each is unique and unlike the others.
They find themselves on different sides of the table, contradict one another, argue, and fight.
It's difficult to start a conversation with shores, to come to an agreement with them or even find a common language.
Then there are bridges: They unite different shores. They start conversations, negotiate and compromise. They create a common ground for the benefit of others.
Personally, I see myself as the second type. I think it's important to bring people together, especially people from different cultures and backgrounds in a time like ours — so that others can discover Russia, its culture, and way of thinking. And in this way they can, in reply, open their culture to us, Russians.
For this reason, I hope that our project can serve as a bridge between cultures.
What's a good way to achieve this? Through studying Russian! - YАNA NEFEDOVATeacher of Russian, linguistI am a very happy person, because I have a truly fascinating profession — I am a professor of Russian.
Why happy? Because my profession contains two wonderful things: the Russian language and my students :)
I also love traveling. I’ve already lived in four different countries, worked at a university, in a school for bilingual children, and taught a great many private lessons. My experience helps me better understand my students and make my lessons as interesting and effective as possible.
I’ve been fortunate to work with people from many different countries, of all ages, genders, and professions. Each of my students, to me, is an entire ocean, with their own incredible story, culture, and experience.

All our language instructors are native-speaking and experienced university teachers. So we teach students of all levels, from elementary to advanced. The specific combination of level during a season depends on the number of applications we get. If there is no group of your level, we will offer you a personal solution.
20 academic hours per week. This includes 2 morning sessions (4 academic hours) per day, 5 days a week. Except the language training itself, the cost of the program includes one trip per week (for example, to Samarkand or Bukhara, destination depending on the week of your choice), and extra activities (for example, painting, cooking class, movie nights, board games etc).
Usually students are university students between 20 and 30 years of age. However, the age range is not limited, we have some applications from even 70-year-olds!
Our activities are very student-oriented and the personal approach is our credo. We do not have more than 10 students per classroom (usually even much less), it is a reasonable maximum for language learning to be efficient enough.
We believe that learning should be easy, efficient and fun. And it should be relevant to the location students live and study in. That`s why we develop our authentic material based on the cultural and historical context of Armenia and South Caucasus. Almost in every lesson, this context is interconnected with Soviet, Russian, European or global culture. You will learn the Russian language through texts about Armenian and Russian food, Tumanyan`s fairy tales that became Soviet cartoons, Russian Christian old-believers who have lived for centuries in Armenia, a world-famous artist and filmmaker who was firstly imprisoned by the Soviets, and, eventually, given a house in the heart of Yerevan, et cetera.

We group students depending on their level of language skills. We try to evaluate the level as soon as possible, at an earlier stage by sending an entry test. Anyway the evaluation will be corrected on the spot.
If the student cancels participation and withdraws from our course, either before or after departure, voluntarily or due to illness, the student will, only if prior written notice of withdrawal is given by the student to us, receive the following refund of the tuition fee already paid:
- more than 1 month prior to starting date of the course: student is entitled to full refund of fee paid, including €100 deposit. In this case student will only be liable for expenses we already incurred (train tickets booking, hotel reservation, tourist guides, etc), but within the limit of the €100 Deposit.
- less than 1 month prior to starting date of the course: the sis entitled to refund of fee paid, less €100 Deposit. In this case the deposit becomes non-refundable.
There is no refund if the student decides to leave the course early or fails to attend any or all of the classes/sessions
- more than 1 month prior to starting date of the course: student is entitled to full refund of fee paid, including €100 deposit. The cooking class at our school is practical, with real cooking on a kitchen with a Russian-speaking cook. This is a very informal event, for example, students cook pelmeni (Russian dumplings). It is additional to language lessons, beyond the class time, normally we choose an afternoon when we cook something Russian (borsht, bliny or pelmeni or anything else from Russian food). And, of course, we speak only Russian in the kitchen!
No entry visa for Armenia is required for citizens of the EU, UK, Switzerland, USA, Japan, China, S.Korea, Singapore etc, for visits up to 180 days.
