80 euro - if you apply for 1 or 2 weeks,
100 euro - if you apply for 3 or 4 weeks.
The registration fee is used to cover the school`s operating costs and is non-refundable.
Tuition fee (does not include the registration fee):
250 euro per week - if you buy 1 week
245 euro per week - if you buy 2 weeks
240 euro per week - if you buy 3 weeks
235 euro per week - if you buy 4 weeks

+ lessons of Russian with native-speakers from Russia (20 academic hours per week),

We have called our course Caravan because, as a caravan of travelers, we start in Tashkent to continue our course in Samarkand, then we go to Bukhara, and finally we arrive back in Tashkent. These 3 cities are landmarks on the Silk Road back in the history as well as in modern Uzbekistan. And they are the 3 parts of one adventure.
It is because of the weather. From the beginning of July until mid-August (the period even has its own name ‘chilla’), the air temperature in Uzbekistan is 40-45 centigrade (in some areas even much higher). So, it would be problematic to travel and enjoy all the beauty of the country. Later in the season it is nicer, the temperature is about 30 centigrade). Anyway, don`t forget your hat and sunscreen!
Oh yes! Uzbekistan is one of the safest countries in the world, it has a very low street crime rate. For example, one can leave a car open on a street to buy cigarettes on the other side of the road, and nothing bad happens.
People on a street are very open, friendly, and hospitable, especially with tourists,
people say “a guest is God`s gift”.
There is also special English-speaking tourist police that works in the city.

Yes, they still do, especially in the biggest cities like Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara. On a street, you can hear many local people speaking Russian between themselves and some signs duplicated in Russian and Uzbek.
The Russian language is still a lingua franca of the Central Asia and a language of inter-ethnic communication alongside with Uzbek, the national language.
Our program focuses on improving students` speaking skills, our native-Russian teachers and managers speak only Russian during all the program, including numerous extracurricular activities.

All our language instructors are native-speaking and experienced university teachers. So we teach students of all levels, from elementary to advanced. The specific combination of level during a season depends on the number of applications we get. If there is no group of your level, we will offer you a personal solution.
Usually students are university students between 20 and 30 years of age. However, the age range is not limited, we have some applications from even 70-year-olds!
Interestingly, Chinese citizens (as part of tourist groups), the US and Vietnamese citizens, who have reached the age of 55, are allowed a visa-free regime to stay in Uzbekistan for upto 30 days (https://mfa.uz/en/pages/visa-republic-uzb)

20 academic hours per week. This includes 2 morning sessions (4 academic hours) per day, 5 days a week. Except the language training itself, the cost of the program includes one trip per week (for example, to Samarkand or Bukhara, destination depending on the week of your choice), and extra activities (for example, painting, cooking class, movie nights, board games etc).
Our activities are very student-oriented and the personal approach is our credo. We have about 10-12 students per classroom, it is a reasonable amount for language learning to be efficient enough.
We believe that learning should be easy, efficient and fun. And it should be relevant to the location students live and study in. That is why we use our own material based on the cultural and historical context of Central Asia. Almost in every lesson, this context is interconnected with Russian, European or global culture. You will learn the Russian language through texts about Uzbek and Russian food, Asian fairy tales that became Soviet films, a Russian painter and activist who saved and collected Karakalpak art, Muslim illuminators who opposed to or supported communists, et cetera.

We group students depending on their level of language skills. We make up groups a couple of weeks prior to the course. We will hold online interviews via Zoom to test your level of speaking skills. Students can be re-groupped on the spot, after they come, if needed.
The cooking class at our school is practical, with real cooking on a kitchen with a Russian-speaking cook. This is a very informal event, for example, students cook pelmeni (Russian dumplings). It is additional to language lessons, beyond the class time, normally we choose an afternoon when we cook something Russian (borsht, bliny or pelmeni or anything else from Russian food). And, of course, we speak only Russian in the kitchen!
Recently the process has been simplified.
